Gambles generosity helps CWC students thrive year-round

This holiday season Central Wyoming College’s TRIO program extends a heartfelt thanks to Gambles in Lander for their generous donation of a freezer. This incredible gift will make a lasting impact by helping CWC address food insecurity among students.

Many college students face significant challenges outside the classroom, including access to basic needs like food. Thanks to Gambles’ donation, the TRIO program will now be able to store perishable food items, allowing Central Wyoming College to better support students in need throughout the year.

The freezer will be used to provide nutritious options, especially proteins, for students who might otherwise go without. This resource will ensure that food is accessible to those who need it most, creating a stronger foundation for academic and personal success.

“We are extremely grateful to Gambles for their generosity and for responding so quickly when they heard about our need,” said Vice President for Student Affairs Coralina Daly.

This donation will help CWC students succeed, both inside and outside the classroom and is a wonderful example of how local businesses can make a profound difference in their communities.

Thank you, Gambles, for helping us make this holiday season — and the future — brighter for our students.
